The Stables Self-Catering Holiday Cottage offers modern, comfortable accommodation in Southerndown

in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is in an idyllic spot, a short walk to the sandy beach on Dunraven Bay.

It forms part of an historic 18th century house in what used to be the old stable block, and has been beautifully renovated into a fully independent living space with its own parking, separate entrance and utilities.

The Stables Holiday Cottage can accommodate up to six. We are child friendly with baby accessories such as high chair, travel cot and stair gates available.

The living space upstairs makes the most of natural light and panoramic views of the coastline and countryside. It is spacious, open plan, with oiled oak floors.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. There is a dining area and a living space with leather sofas, a television, DVD and CD players.

Bedrooms are downstairs in

  • one twin bedroom
  • one double bedroom
  • a master bedroom with en-suite shower room

The local pub, the Three Golden Cups, is on the way back from the beach, and only 100m from the cottage. It has beautiful sea views, separate restaurant and bar areas and serves delicious food with a home-cooked style.
